Green Day is a band from Berkeley CA. They started out as a band called Sweet Children With Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and John Kiffmyer. But later mike Dirnt decided to call it Green Day. Then they came out with their first CD 1,039 slappy hours in 1990 But they had a little problem John Kiffmyer(drummer) quit the band for school but Green Day soon found a new drummer the teacher of the old one, TRE' COOL and came out with theese CD's. 1992 Kerplunk, 1995 Dookie, 1995 Insomniac, 1998 Nimrod, 2000 Warning, 2001 International superhits, then 2002 (unknown)
